A widely followed crypto strategist and trader says Solana (SOL) and three additional altcoins are his top picks for longer-term holdings.
Pseudonymous analyst Altcoin Sherpa tells his 223,400 followers on social media platform X that SOL will likely remain in an uptrend as long as it holds $110 as support.
In addition to SOL, the analyst reveals other picks for “longer-term buys,” including crypto gaming platform Rollbit’s native token RLB, layer-1 protocol Saga (SAGA), and Bittensor (TAO), a decentralized blockchain platform that focuses on machine learning and AI.
“Longer term buys: RLB (highly highlighted, more “real value” and NFL). SAGA chart looks good. TAO at $200 (AI). SOL between $130 and $110 still good in my opinion.”
Focusing on SAGA, the analyst suggests that the token is currently trading in a range after hitting a low.
“SAGA, I think this price looks pretty good for a DCA (dollar cost averaging)/spot position. It seems to have found a bottom and consolidated over three months and is moving despite the BTC uncertainties.”
Solana is trading at $133 at the time of writing, up over 3% in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, RLB is trading at $0.094 at the time of writing, up 9.34% on the day, SAGA is trading at $1.53, up 13.23% on the day, and TAO is trading at $276, up 10.71% in the last 24 hours.
The analyst also reveals his swing trade picks, including Helium (HNT), a Solana-based asset that uses access points to connect wireless devices to its network, lending platform Aave (AAVE), and Solana competitor Sui (SUI).
Taking a closer look at HNT, the analyst suggests that HNT could retest lower levels in the short term after a sudden breakout.
“HNT finally got around to it. Someone bought it or bought it back and it has a weird chart. I’ve been tweeting about it for weeks at this point and have traded it well before and bought on the recent move lower. I’m holding it for a bit with other orders to the downside.”
HNT is trading at $7.61 at the time of writing, down 7.3% in the past 24 hours.
