Here’s Why Canton Bulls Eye $0.20 After CC’s 10% Rally

Canton (CC) climbed to $0.1652 after posting a daily gain of 10.61% at press time, while trading volume rose 22.28% to $35 million as market participation accelerated. The gathering coincided with growing attention to Canton Network’s institutional adoption story and the upcoming DTCC soft launch planned for July.

Notably, the interest generated by the integration of Visa’s stablecoin also reinforced the broader narrative. As a result, buyers pushed CC back towards a major resistance zone that capped price upside for months. This latest move reflects improved confidence in the market.

However, traders remained focused on whether Canton could convert this push into a sustained breakout rather than another rejection near overhead resistance.

Why do cash outflows continue to dominate?

Despite the strong recovery, exchange flow data showed that more tokens continued to leave exchanges than enter them.

On June 7, Canton saw approximately $1.97 million in inflows versus $2.05 million in outflows, resulting in a net outflow of nearly $80,000. This trend suggests that some holders preferred to move their assets off trading platforms rather than prepare for immediate sales.

Such behavior often aligns with accumulation rather than distribution. Furthermore, the persistence of capital outflows during a price increase highlighted the confidence of participants.

Although the imbalance remains relatively small, it nevertheless reinforces the idea that buyers continue to absorb available supply as institutional interest around the ecosystem grows.

Bulls keep their conviction intact

Derivatives data showed traders maintaining a constructive outlook even as Canton approached a key resistance level.

At the time of writing, the OI-weighted funding rate remained positive at 0.0072%, indicating that long position holders continued to pay a premium to maintain their exposure. Positive funding generally reflects stronger demand from bullish traders than bearish participants.

Additionally, the indicator recovered after several negative readings earlier this month, signaling improving sentiment. Although funding levels remain moderate, they nonetheless demonstrate growing confidence in the current trend.

However, traders would likely watch future increases closely, as excessively high funding rates could potentially introduce overheating risks and encourage short-term profit-taking.

Resistance battle intensifies near $0.1668

Price action showed Canton challenging the important resistance zone at $0.1668 after rebounding strongly from support near $0.1470. The daily chart revealed that buyers regained control after several weeks of consolidation in a wide range.

At press time, the RSI also climbed to 60.13, reflecting strengthening buying interest without entering overbought territory. This positioning suggested that there was still room for further upside if demand continued to increase.

Additionally, the latest breakout attempt occurred after several failed tests at the same resistance zone, making the current move particularly significant. If buyers establish support above $0.1668, the chart structure indicates that a move towards $0.20 could become increasingly likely in the coming sessions.

Is $0.20 where Canton goes next?

Canton remained near a critical breakout point as institutional catalysts continued to attract attention. Spot capital outflows supported the accumulation narrative, while positive funding rates reflected sustained bullish conviction.

If buyers successfully convert $0.1668 into support, the path to $0.20 would become considerably clearer. However, another rejection of resistance could keep CC trapped in its wider trading range before the next major move develops.

Final Summary

  • Canton moved closer to major resistance as volume and institutional interest increased.
  • Spot capital outflows and positive funding reflect continued trader confidence.
